Barrandov Film School has been established by Wiktor Grodecki in response to the popular demand from his previous students whom he taught at various film schools in many countries.

We offer courses taught by working film professionals. The students will be able to complete their screenplays and films using the latest knowledge and technology used in the film business around the world today. They will also have the chance to join the professional shoots while still at our school and establish their own relationships with the filmmakers, which will help them to enter the Industry. It is situated at the Barrandov Film Studios, also known as the “European Hollywood” or “Hollywood of the East” due to its ever increasing interest from western film productions. Barrandov is one of the largest and oldest film studios in Europe. For over 80 years this place has been the location of choice for over 2,500 international and Czech films. Barrandov Studio is also a production hub for the television community.
